Russian Culture brought to you by:

I can honestly say that despite some setbacks, I've been enjoying Moscow more than any other big city I've been to in the past year. This came as a small surprise, but it's a huge city of 10 million people and a rich history. Still, there's something seriously wrong here. No matter where we went, a huge billboard marred our view of these monuments. I've also seen massive billboards far bigger than any I've ever seen in my life. What this says about Russia or Moscow, I'm not yet sure but there's something wrong about St. Basil's Cathedral brought to you by DHL. People mill about near a statue of a historical figure. The same statue but backdropped by a huge SAMSUNG billboard.
Perhaps a war hero significant to Russia's history, he proudly rides a horse immortalized outside the Red Square.
The same hero, but now juxtaposed with a watch billboard that's small by Moscow standards.
